The religious schools of Congregation Shalom and the Anjuman E Ezzi Boston Masjid in Billerica, are hosting a wonderful learning fair about our two religious traditions on Sunday, May 15th from 3:00-5:00.  This is NOT an event just for the school community, but for our entire congregations.  

Please come and learn more as we seek to build a bridge of peace and understanding.  First we will begin with short mixers for the students in one room and the adults in another.  Then imagine a learning fair format in which there will be tables hosted by the different grades.  At each table, students of the different grades will jointly teach about a specific subject from their religious tradition's perspective!  There will be tables about Sacred Meals, Religious Clothing and Sacred Objects, Architecture of our Sacred Spaces, Moral and Ethical Values, Role Models from our Faith Traditions, Language, Sacred Texts and Numerology and finally, Life-Cycle Traditions.  To end it all we will of course have food!  There will be samplings of foods from our religious and cultural traditions.  

Please note that RSVP's are important since we need to plan for the food.  A similar invite is being sent to all the members of the Masjid. We will also be inviting the superintendents and school committee from most of the surrounding town's as the guests of our two congregations.  This promises to be an amazing and uplifting afternoon, so please join us!
